California Magic

Yesterday morning was incredible. I say yesterday because I’m finally writing this at 2:22am after working all day. A lot of you know that I work some crazy hours, but some of you don’t. I’m not saying this to brag about myself, but rather to brag about you all. Waking up after 3 or 4 hours of sleep is easy when I have the tribe to look forward to. Honestly, you all made my day. I mean that with 100% sincerity too. Without this morning’s workout, today probably would have sucked a bit. That happens when you work a double between two jobs and get home around 2:30am. Today though was amazing! First off, at 5:30 we had Carla. Carla just so happened to be at the TOMS cafe when Elliott was telling a coworker about NP. Carla thought it sounded cool and #justshowedup. Kudos to you Carla for being awesome! At 6:30 I was stoked to see one of my new co-workers show up. I just started a new serving job and naturally I talked about my early morning ritual. Well, as fate would have it I work with an awesome cat named Eugene Kim. That’s right! LA has their own beardless, but still sassy version of Euge! My favorite part about this morning came during breakfast club. Eugene joined us for coffee, and we discovered that he and one of our tribe members, Kris, played high school football against each other. In Baltimore! Suck it Nick Rod! I don’t have much else to say except for this blog is just my way of thanking NP LAX for being fucking awesome! I love you all!

Do Good, LA!

  • Random Fact: Curious why Legos are called Legos? Well the Lego Group began in the workshop of Ole Kirk Christiansen (born 7 April 1891), a carpenter from Billund, Denmark, who began making wooden toys in 1932. In 1934, his company came to be called “Lego”, from the Danish phrase leg godt, which means “play well”.
