The Wettest Workout of All Time

Woof city.

That was one of the soppiest, soggiest, sweatiest workouts of all time. You heard it here, folks: World’s Sweatiest Workout — November Project Boston 7/12/17. 2-3 sections in, I started to feel it. 6 sections in, I was drenched head-to-toe. All the clothes came off. Half way through I wished we hadn’t blown our entire yearly budget on that dope sunset for the #sunrise6k, ’cause putting some rain on the expense report would’ve been totally worth this morning. It was insane. I actually wondered if anyone would notice if I ran out the bottom at section 12 and straight to the Charles.

It’s these muggy, humid, hot AF days in July that we all get stronger, faster, and harder to keep up with. If you can workout and keep moving in weather like this, there’s nothing that can keep you down. Weatherproof is a many-sided beast, and today the hot (not like “sexy hot” — like “get me out of this damn steam room” hot) ‘n’ humid head reared up and lashed out. Luckily we sliced that thing off and sent it packin’.

For all of you that showed up, you know what I’m talking about, and well f*ckin done for stickin’ it out. For those that didn’t, quit slackin’ off and get out the door in the morning — or don’t and we’ll just toast your asses on #PRDay. Either way, we’ll be at Summit Ave on Friday, whatever the weather. Oh! Friday! That reminds me…

Friday night, July 14th, 7pm. Brooklyn Boulders is hosting a dope event: BKBeastmode Finals, which is a very cool competition between 4 elite teams from around the country, competing for some sick prize $ and benefiting a great cause as well.

If you were one of the lucky 10 to get a FREE ticket to the event on behalf of NP, you get to do all of the following:

Watch Four Teams Compete in Six Challenges

See Dance Performance by URBANITY

Eat num nums from sweetgreen

Kombucha Bar by Healthade

Beer by Aeronaut

Anyone and everyone else can also buy a discounted ticket for $10 to attend the event using the promo code NOVEMBER when you sign up.

See you all Friday in the morning, evening, or both.

Much Love,
– C. Payne
