#NPNYC Sardines

Against most New Yorkers better judgement, we have decided to follow in the footsteps of our friends at NP Boston. Monday we will NOT be at Morningside Park but rather the co-leaders are challenging the tribe to a game of Sardines. Sarcastic questions and responses highlighted below but since we’re already past your normal reading of 142 characters, please find the Wisconsin notes at the end of the page.

What is Sardines?

Sardines are a type of food that I’m certain nobody eats. At least nobody with a soul. It’s also the bizzaro world version of hide-and-seek where one person (or this time, 3 co-leaders) go and hide in Manhattan and the rest of the tribe comes to find us.

Manhattan is big, where do we start?

You can start wherever you like. But the boundaries of where we’ll be within is highlighted below:

Are you feckin kidding me, that is a large area?

The co-leaders will release clues, poems, songs, etc. every 5 – 7 minutes to hint at where we are located. At the end of each clue, we will narrow the size of the island to make sure everyone is headed in the right direction.

What do I need to do to play?

Follow @novemberprojectnyc on Instagram for all of our clue drops. If you don’t have Instagram, then come into the 21st century and download it. Or find a friend with Instagram.

Can I bring non-NP people?

YES YES YES YES YES. Please do. Buffalo has already embarrassed the NYC tribe in ability to recruit. We need to step up our game.

Meet up with NP folk as well along the way or plan to meet up prior to the first clue drop which will come at 6:15am.

What should I wear?

This should be active. Please run, bike, roller blade, swim, bunny hop or march around New York to find us. Since it is our 4th of July workout, we highly suggest wearing Amurican sht. And NP sht because NP is Amurica.

I’m way smarter than our co-leaders and will find them immediately; what do I do for the rest of the time?

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. We are the most smartest.

BUT, if you happen to solve our Kryptos-esque coded clues, we will have a workout planned for the remainder of the time as we wait for the lesser smart people.

I don’t read past 142-characters. Please summarize the above.
