Mondays, They Are A-Changin

ATTENTION!!!

November Project NYC has experienced a lot of change in the past few months. Our OG co-leaders John and Paul have stepped down from their pedestal, a band of copy-cat misfits called the Kings County Fit Club is starting to flames emojis out in Brooklyn (can you do emojis on this thing? are flame emoji’s still a thing?), the weather is fluctuating between 30 and 70 degrees* and workouts actually start on time. It’s been a lot for the tribe to handle.

However, as one would expect from November Project’s most mentally tough (and best looking) tribe, we handled all of the changes at least as well as United handles its seating issues. Given our tribe’s perseverance is hardened by the daily grind of a city that never sleeps, we figured one more change for the tribe will be a cakewalk.

What:     MONDAY LOCATIONS ARE CHANGING TO 2 PERMANENT LOCATIONS

Where:

1st and 3rd Monday of the month –> Morningside Park (110th and Morningside Dr)

2nd and 4th Monday of the month –> Squibb Park (Brooklyn)

5th Monday of the month –> Bonus Monday!!! (Surprise Locations)

When:    Starting April 24th (but at Morningside Park to celebrate Mary’s bday)

Why:      See below.

The main reasons we’ve decided to make this change:

(i) Our goal is to continue to expand the tribe’s footprint in NYC – having multiple permanent                 locations help us achieve this goal

(ii) Rapid growth of King County Fit Club increases flexibility

(iii) Anticipated growth and summer months may make bridge space untenable

We certainly welcome and appreciate any helpful feedback (sorry Raul, that excludes you) so if you have any thoughts or ideas on growth opportunities, alternative locations, etc., please let us know.  And since we all know you’re excited for more change….

… please pretend to ponder this deep quote that was the first thing that popped up when I googled “change”

“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not of fighting the old, but on building the new.”
