2016 was a pretty absurd year. For many of us, it was an unending Sisyphean challenge, which felt like there were several steps backward for every step forward. This tribe is here to remind you that, together, we are building great things, doing even better ones, and making our community a more positive and inviting place. You may not realize it, but others have noticed. So let that warm your heart and bring a smile to your face.

Today was PR Day. For those of you that haven’t been, we hold an all-stairs race the last Wednesday of the month as a chance to showcase the work the tribe has put in. The goal is to beat your previous personal record (PR), completing 18 flights of stairs AFAFP*.
This morning was the final PR Day for 2016, your last chance to be the fastest You possible. Did You rise to the occasion and shatter your previous best? Or did you take the morning off and settle for less than your best? Regardless, you have a goal for 2017: beat yourself. Set an achievable target, and work your ass off to reach it. Print it out, memorize it, scribble it on your mirror in one of the deep red colors of lipstick that makes you look like a Badass Bitch. Then push yourself outside of your comfort zone to achieve it.
Now is the time for a bit of rest because we have Work to do, and they’re firing the starter’s pistol in a few days. Your tribe is with you. Here’s to crushing goals (literally) and bashing skulls (figuratively) in the new year.
