Well today is hot. Not like, “ah, summer it’s kinda hot” hot. More like furnace, earth scorching heat with humidity that makes even the most thrill-seeking adventurers think twice about leaving the comfort of AC.
Rarely at 6:00 AM does it feel like 90 degrees and 1000% humidity. This morning was one of those times. #Weatherproof is a real thing, even in the summer months. Thanks to all who hydrated up and joined this morning, it wasn’t an easy one. Speaking of hot…we were graced with the presence of a couple characters this AM. First we had Kris “Sister City” Utt, the fearless co-leader of NP_VB. The dude is pure speed and sex appeal. Next, we had John Combs aka Speedy Johnzales. This guy just thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail (yeah, 2,200+ miles). You can reach either one of these guys through your preferred social media outlet.
Drew passed the Hard Hat to Dan. Dan is one of our younger Tribesmen who shows up and throws down — well done! We celebrated birthdays, shot photos and earned our weekend!
