For starters: What is hype? I’m not going to give you a Webster’s dictionary definition because nobody uses dictionaries anymore. Hype is general excitement and fervor for an event, object, person, etc. But it’s more than excitement. It’s beyond excitement. It’s beyoncitement? Don’t get it confused with any sort of Beyonce reference (despite her mastery of hype).
Let’s take a look. Take this. And then this. And then find somewhere between the two but closer to the latter. For most of us, just picture Danny when he’s ecstatic about anything.
Now, let’s put it into practice. Here’s an event happening THIS SUNDAY. It WILL be the most fun thing you’ll do all month (unless that trip to Chuck E. Cheese is still on). GET HYPED. TELL EVERYONE. 4PM. Supreme Court steps.
