Hey NP Cold Cip Crew,
As Spring rolls in, we geared up for something a little different this time around. We embarked on a chilly yet exhilarating field trip to the 30-foot pool at Lynn Canyon!

I know, some of you were probably thinking, “Why on earth are we voluntarily subjecting ourselves to cold glacial water?” Well, let me tell you, there was more to it than just a refreshing dip (though that was definitely part of the appeal!).

First off, Lynn Canyon was absolutely stunning this time of year. Spring brings out the fresh green leaves and brightens up the pines lining the trails, the crisp air filling our lungs – it was the perfect setting for a memorable day out in nature. And trust me, the hike to the 30-foot pool was worth every step. The lush forest scenery, the sound of the rushing water – it was like stepping into a postcard.

Now, onto the main event – the cold dip! I know it sounded daunting, but think of it as a rejuvenating experience for both body and mind. Plus, there was something oddly invigorating about plunging into icy water surrounded by breathtaking scenery. And hey, if nothing else, it definitely woke us up!

It’s been a long six months of battling through the darkness, long nights, and seasonal depression we get from the winter months. As the days turn brighter, warmer and more outdoor adventures open up – we’ll be celebrating our last cold dip of the season and see you again very soon in October.

So, let’s raise a toast to the memories we made at Lynn Canyon. It was a day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and just a touch of madness. But hey, that’s what made our November project so special, right?
Cheers,
Kim
