Well, That was Hard…

Some mornings bring harder workouts than others.  This was easily one of those mornings.  2 loops, and a growing number of pushups, vups, scissor jumps, and bottom half burpees.  40 minutes of work.  Hard work.  We may be feeling this tomorrow morning…

If you were there, you remember the workout.  But there was something you may not have noticed…  Bessy and her giant red backpack.  Bessy ran with that bag for 40 minutes – no sandbagging, no complaining, no real mention of why she was carrying the bag in the first place.  Turns out, Bessy actually listens to us, and respectfully follows the “rules” of November Project.  She shows up, busts her ass, encourages the people around her, and NEVER LEAVES HER STUFF!  We asked you all to try not to bring things to the workouts, because they get set on the ground, often left, and every once in awhile stolen.  In fact, this morning, someone left their sweatshirt and phone.  But guess who didn’t leave there stuff, because it never left their back?  Bessy.  Way to set the example!

Next Monday: SUNRISE 6K!!  We meet at Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach to race 3.72823 miles of PB boardwalk, finishing on the end of the pier.  Neon gear encouraged.  And we will be TAGGING, so bring a shirt.
