They say timing is everything. They are sometimes right. While the howling winds seemed to scare off a bunch of people, we have a ton of newbies today and they got to experience the beauty of Commonwealth Stadium at 6am on a Wednesday. And while we are weatherproof, Jen and I decided it would be in everyone’s best interest if we told the rain to hold off until after today’s workout. If you didn’t want rain this morning, you’re welcome.
Important Announcements
Friday, May 26 – Walterdale Hill. We’ll be tagging GRASSROOTS GEAR. Bring one shirt/top and we’ll tag it in some fresh black spray paint for you. We only tag in black and across the chest. So no, the tag won’t show on your black shirt. Also, please stick to one shirt so we can get through all of them in 30 minutes. We’ll do a few more of these days throughout the summer to make sure you have enough tops to proudly wear at all upcoming formal occasions such as graduations, job interviews and casual Tuesday.
Wednesday, May 31 – YEARBOOK PHOTOS – Wear your fresh grassroots gear AND/OR be as Canadian as you can. Bonus points (which can be used towards our reward points program launching in the fall of 2019) if you do both. Need inspiration (or perhaps you want to figure out what you don’t want to do)?
