Wisconsin notes:

  • yearbook photos happened
  • PR day next week, last day for the recruiting challenge
  • lululemon announcement/free stickers

We took yearbook photos this morning, huge thanks to Celia. It was really fun to see everyone dressed up in their interpretation of what being Canadian means to them. The D-day is June 6th for when those pictures will be coming out, same with the rest of the tribes across the planet.

Keep hyping and recruiting, next week is the last week for the recruitment challenge.

The following is a special announcement from the lovely folks of lululemon winnipeg.

Hype video here.

Churchill, the polar bear capital of the world and travel Manitoba are about to host an epic, international mural festival celebrating ocean health + the unique beauty of the town. The festival is being held to bring awareness to the pressing environmental issues the oceans and humanity are facing.

Kal Barteski , Artist , lululemon ambassador and the Festival Director is teaming up with @seawalls + PangeaSeed Foundation + a team of 15 international and regional artists who are coming together to paint for a purpose and give the oceans a voice via art and activisim (ARTivism).

We are extremely honoured to annouce that lululemon Winnipeg along with HUT K will be hosting a local yoga series in support of this movement. We will be holding a yoga class each Wednesday from 6:30 – 8:00pm starting May 24th at Hut K and collaborating with local yoga teachers and artists for this series. Each class will be a $35 donation to the festival and will include a 60 minute practice that is specifically curated to the beauty of Churchill.

May 24th – Ashley Bourgeois & Erin Greene
May 31st – Monica Angelatos
June 7th – Rachelle Taylor
June 14th – Liane Cherrett

“It’s been inspiring + heartwarming to see so many sponsors + partners like @travelmanitoba enthusiastic to support a bright + bold initiative that will change the landscape in Churchill + make an impact on the beautiful souls who live there as well as the thousands of tourists that make their way to see the largest polar bear migration in the world. True manitoba goodness. I’m incredibly proud + grateful to live in a province with polar bears… It’s my promise to do everything that I can to celebrate + protect the bears that changed my life.” – Kal Barteski
