This morning was about breaking outside of your comfort zone, making some new friends (HOPEFULLY) and working hard to try to finish the workout. Just to make sure we kept things moving the sleigh bells burnout added some fun (read: pain). I saw people pushing themselves to keep up other people and others who were learning that this wild November Project ride moves pretty fast and you need to pace yourself.
This leader thing is a steep learning curve. For me, this morning was about making sure the newbies didn’t get lost on the word go and that I didn’t mess up peoples birthday Boo Yeahs. Nick let me “ring” the bell AKA hit the bell with a wrench and I accidentally put some new chips in it, sorry boo. Amidst all the #checkyouroiltakethestairs*** conversations I forgot how to walk down the stairs and tripped, fell and skinned my knee. Happy first Wednesday leadering to me.
Thanks to all the people who introduced themselves to me this morning – keep that up, I’ll get there eventually. Continue to make the city your playground. There’s a lot out there we haven’t explored yet. You are all STAHS.
HAPPY WEDNESDAY Y’ALL!
