Man was this morning good! All of the right ingredients mixed perfectly to start the day off with a BOOM.
If you all don’t mind, I’d like to share a quick something: Sometimes I’m not overly happy, positive, and enthusiastic. Sometimes I have shitty days. Sometimes I’m not stoked with the way things are going, in my life, in my city, around the world. Sometimes I deal with things just like, well, pretty much everyone else – no matter how great life is, we all have shitty days. But why bring it up?
I’ve noticed something showing up to workouts over the last few years. Yes, we’re positive, yes we’re supportive, and inclusive, happy, strong, and bright. Those things make us who we are. They make us all want to get out of bed in the morning. But all of that aside, the one thing I’ve really noticed, is that when we’re at November Project, for that hour window in the early morning, we are THERE. Nothing else matters. Work, relationships, politics, disagreements, differences, obligations, general stressors of the world – they don’t exist for that one special hour. We excel at doing something people struggle to acheive their entire lives. We are PRESENT. And I think we can all agree, it’s no easy task to set our past and future aside, even for one measly hour. But we do, and it’s incredible.
Thank you, NPSD, for showing up week after week to live in the present. November Project is my meditation, my happy place, my place to live in the NOW.

Tonight, Wednesday, November 16th, we will be screening the half hour November Project short film, “Showing Up” produced by members of NP_Earth, the Doosters.
WHEN: doors open @5:30PM – first screening @6:30PM – second screening @8:00PM – doors close @9:00PM
(We are doing 2 screenings of the film because viewing space is limited to just over 100. But that does not mean you can only stay for one. If you view the 6:30PM screening, feel free to stick around the rest of the night!)

WHY: Hear stories from 8 tribe members around the world, drink some discounted brews (or free BoochKraft kombucha!), munch on some popcorn, and hang with your fellow tribe members (some of whom you may never have seen in normal, non-sweating clothing).
