Resources by NPHQ shared here (Ottawa)

This is us from this morning! You are all champs for waking up, popping on zoom wherever you were and pushing one another to be better this morning. We are grateful for each and every one of you.

Last week we shared a survey to get your feedback. Thank you for taking the time you did to complete those, we appreciate you. We are going to take this week to review your thoughtful responses and share takeaways and next steps. We are certainly going to need you, we always need you in this community that you have created and hope you want to continue to grow with us.

This week, NPHQ released information about Virtual NPsummit2020. Whether or not you have ever, or want to participate in NP Summit, does not matter. We have included this in the blog so that you can take a look at an activity around social identities. This activity was completed at Meeting of the Minds, with all co-leaders to explore our social identities, and further discussions around the impact. In addition, a conversation with Knox Robinson, a black runner and leader of Black Roses NYC sits down to discuss the running community and the similarities and differences between November Project and Black Roses NYC .

See details and links in the blog HERE  feel free to share them if you feel they would add value to others, they will be shared on instagram and facebook as well.

Thank you for sharing your best halloween trick or treats with us over zoom.  Thank you for reminding us to take the group photo!

Here’s to bringing soles together,

Lauren and Liz

  1. I tend to read “popping” as “pooping” – but trust me, I can attest that there was no “popping” on zoom this morning!

    Anyways,
    1) thank you for the resources to NPSummit resources
    2) idea for bringing our community closer when we are apart – PEN PALS!!!
