March Madness

Every March the best teams in college basketball come together to play in a little tournament. Maybe you’ve heard of it. Maybe you haven’t and you don’t understand why people keep talking about brackets this month. Perhaps the only brackets you know look like this:

Office pool? What is that? I haven’t had a dip in years and I definitely don’t want to see my coworkers in their swim trunks.

For whatever reason, I just assume no one in SF other than Jmak cares about sports. People don’t move their lives around to watch games here like they do on the east coast. Oh boy, I feel like I’m starting to sound like Pete Kruse in an internal East vs. West dialogue.

But really, I felt like this morning’s March Madness bracket busting workout was pretty educational. Everyone learned that there are 6 rounds in the tournament, culminating in the national championship. Everyone got a chance to get there by playing rock, paper, scissors. Except for Kylie and Emma. Poor ballers. They just couldn’t get out of the first round. Until Cinderella swooped in and got them their lucky slipper/ticket to the next round!

All in all, I feel like this morning was a positive first step for all of us learning about sports together. I’ll be here in case people have specific questions. Like “how many squats do I do in the second round?” etc.

FRIDAY HILLS: Sanchez St in the Mission next to Laura’s house. Heard she wanted to have a sleepover the night before. Just sayin…

  1. Clearly you’ve never been to a 1) 49ers game, 2) Warriors game, 3) Giants game, or 4) Sharks game. This city is full of sports lovers!!!! We hosted the Super Bowl!
