Hello, NP Winnipeg Crew!

Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts in our August survey! We’re dedicated to creating fun, inclusive, and challenging workouts every Wednesday. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts, and in the spirit of transparency, we’d like to share the key feedback we received.

What We Heard:

Most of you find our workouts both fun and challenging, with many suggesting we add more strength-building and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). The Bridge Challenge remains a fan favorite (no surprise there), and there’s interest in bringing back workouts like Spell Your Name, Lunge to St. B, and Better Than Bedtime.

We also heard how much people value group activities, especially in teams of three. Beyond workouts, some members would love to see casual meet-ups or pop-up workouts to strengthen our community connections.

One response in particular stood out: “There are many running groups in Winnipeg. NP should stay true to itself and not try to replicate what’s already available.”

What’s Next:

Expect more strength and HIIT elements with a bit less running, as well as increased chances to connect with fellow members. We’re committed to ensuring that everyone who shows up feels welcomed and supported—no matter their fitness level, background, or identity. At NP, we believe in the importance of coming as you are, supporting others, and respecting individual boundaries. These are at the core of who we are as a community.

While we may be smaller in size now than we have been, NP Winnipeg is still fueled by enthusiasm and positivity. Keep showing up, and invite others to join this incredible community!

And, Finally:

After three solid years of leadership, Danny will be stepping down at the end of November. More to follow on that, but that means we are currently looking for a third co-leader. If you have any interest (even if you just want to chat about what all that entails), we’d love to hear from you. You’re welcome to come chat with Danny or Brad, or toss us a message on the socials. NP Winnipeg thrives because of the energy and commitment of members like you.

We’re so glad you’re here!

Brad & Danny
