New HR Representative – Kaddia Jameison
NP HQ is proud to announce its newest addition that will be heading up all things Human Resources, Kaddia Jameison. We asked Kaddia to share a bit about herself…
I have spent the last few decades as a Human Resources leader and I love the profession. As I continue on my career path, I want to contribute and give back to our communities as places where diversity, inclusion, values & morals are at the core of who we are. I enjoy old-school R&B, traveling, iced coffee, food (especially sushi), exercise, the beach, and massages. I come from the middle of the pack of a large SoCal family. I’ve lived all across the United States (Arizona, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, DC, Maryland, NYC, and New Jersey) and have spent time visiting most of the other states. Now I live in Baltimore, MD with my husband Jon who I married over a year ago. He is tall, athletic, fun, compassionate, and handsome.
I am very positive, warm, honest and want the very best as I embark on my new journey with all of you. I am thrilled to be a part of the November Project Family and I can’t wait to see all of the wonderful things we do together!
Leadership Training and Anti-Discrimination Discussions For NP Members
A few weeks ago our consultants that have been involved in various Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion subjects at November Project, held a pilot Town Hall with NP New Orleans members. This collaborative meeting, relatively smaller in size (with about 20 participants) was used to test, learn, and adjust for scaled-up versions we’re planning on conducting for larger audiences in the near future. We’re currently analyzing the learnings and will be making announcements about the upcoming events soon.
Beyond The Land Acknowledgment – Virtual Session
Land Acknowledgment is a practice that we’re hoping to implement at all November Project locations in an effort to honor the Indigenous people and their kindship to the land we now live on. But there is much more to Land Acknowledgement. On March 29 at 7pm EST, join us for a conversation with Elder Dr. Dave Courchene, the founder of the Turtle Lodge International Centre for Indigenous Education and Wellness. Elder Dr. Corchene will share the knowledge on how we can form deeper connection to the land that we move on followed by Q&A session.
#FinishTheRun

We would like to thank November Project community for coming together in great numbers to participate in #FinishTheRun – a tribute run for Ahmaud Arbery. Maud was a young Black man that was murdered while running in broad daylight because of the color of his skin. We are proud that our efforts added to the contribution of over $250,000 for the organization that will use all of it for the scholarship fund that provides Black and Brown youth with the opportunity to actively participate in local civic engagement.
Runfulness

Some of our best ideas have come during or shortly after the run or a workout. It’s in this state where you find the power to change a day, a life, the world. Our friends at Brooks call this Runfulness and they created Run Fund to bring some of those thoughts to life. You can submit your idea, in essay or video form on Brooks website by March 31st. A panel of judges will narrow down contestants to a group of semi-finalists. Then, a community vote will ultimately determine four recipients of $25,000 and a grand prize of $100,000.
NP + Knocakround Colaboration Coming Soon!
What do you get when you put together our friends from Knockaround Sunglasses, November Project’s 10th Year Anniversary, and the creativity of thousands of NP members from around the world combined? A creative contest that you don’t want to miss! More information coming soon but for now, practice coloring within the lines.
