Little known fact: The bridge took an extra couple of years to actually finish because of Nadim’s alterations to the design. After Nadim left his full time music gig, he took a job with the City doing, “big city kinda things”. Across his table came a boring plan for a way to get cars across a river…”Not on my watch!”, he cried! With NP in mind he added beauty, functional trails and some cool-ass lighting. Thank you for essentially creating “the Walter”, Nadim. As much as I enjoyed your drum solo and maraca swinging, I’m glad to see you succeeding in you big city stuff.
The tribe arrived and the tribe crushed “the Walter” this morning. Rain? You made of sugar!? Sun? Who needs it!? Congrats to all who did a single Walter or the Cinco de Walter.💪🏼💪🏼
As we embrace the season of darkness and quietly whimper to no-one-in-particular, remember to send that liked one a text message or even an old fashioned Face-Time to get them out of bed in the morning. This is the time of year that is a gut check and we can set the tone for the rest of the darkness. Don’t let the excuses come easy and reward yourself and others with the gift of showing up! We will all walk the tundra with a little extra swagger this winter!
Xoxo, thanks for showing up!
