On Super Bowl Sunday we decided to put months worth of training to a test and see how fast we can run 5 miles. Brogan killed it at 29:46.4 (5:58/mile pace) while Bojan ran respectable 33:53.9 (6:47/mile pace). After the event we enjoyed some Superbowl themed festivities and beers from 5 local breweries – 1 brewery for each mile of the race.
This was a good time. The dudes at RaceMenu know how to throw a party with a running spin to it.
Yo, we’ve got at least 10-15 November Project folks doing this race this year. It’s going to be a blast. I hope more folks join. Credit to FJ for organizing.
