Crazy 8 a day late

 Crazy 8’s (LAX)

It’s true that yesterday was the last day of Hanukkah and while we are fully aware that we missed the last night, we decided to go with a Crazy 8’s themed workout.   We also wanted to give the Observatory a break from our shenanigans and head over to another lovely spot – the magical meadow, which is a perfect place for sprints, squats, and so much more.  Not to mention a killer sunrise because again, this is Los Angeles and #content.

Well, as folks were running around and perfecting their pistol squat balance, I started getting asked if there was a burnout.  Now this has become a very common question and either we aren’t making the workouts tough enough or people just really like to push themselves further at the end of every workout.  Ok, ok.  I see how it is.  I guess that just means that we have the pleasure of coming up with unique and ever so enjoyable burnouts.

Today’s burnout consisted of Jesse chasing the tribe up the massive Griffith Hill and assigning burpees at random.  Totally fun, right?
