A little bit of Hanukkah for everyone [MTL]

WISCONSIN NOTES:

  • November Project MTL holiday dessert potluck party last Monday was a blast!
  • Happy Hanukkah everyone! Hence the theme of the workout this week
  • #NPadoreMTL: First serious snowfall of the season and the tribe came out strong. Long live MTL!

What a week! The week started off with an awesome party at Mila’s place (Thanks MILA!) for the first annual November Project MTL Holiday Dessert potluck party. What a yummy evening. Big Thanks to everyone for showing up and baking the sweetest desserts in Montréal. We had everything: spice cake, latkas, pannetone, rice crispies squares (or notJ), cookies, cupcakes, donuts, etc. I do not think I have eaten so many sweet cakes and bites in my entire life. The ambiance was super festive and everyone contributed to make the event a memorable one. If you missed it, mark your calendars for next year! This event is not to miss!!!

This morning we took a moment to acknowledge the start of Hanukkah with a Hanukkah themed workout. From the bounce to the tune of “dreidel dreidel dreidel” to a lit Menorah in Place-d’Armes, everything was in place to celebrate this holiday in NP style. Each of you were attributed either a SHIN, HEY, GIMEL or a NUN to determine what wave you were in to run in the snowy streets of Montreal. Do you remember what wave you were part of? If not, get down and give us 9 pushups 🙂

Loads of fun from one of the most amazing tribes out there! Great job on this one! You worked hard and you earned your week real good.

Last but not least… Winter is officially here – as you can see in the pictures! The first snowy workout in a long time and the tribe showed up in a big way. With windchill, it was -22C with over 15cm of snow. During the workout no one really feels the cold anyway right?. Remember, we have another 4-5 months of this… so make sure to bundle up and layer. We are all in this together.

Have yourselves an amazing week and don’t forget to keep smiling 🙂
