Mondays are just plain fun.
They’re fun because they are as hard as you can make them–we always give you plenty to work hard at, and you can challenge yourself with technique of movements, speed or reps of exercises, how hard you sprint, or how many rounds you try to complete through the given time.

They’re fun because you always have an opportunity to meet new people–or know old friends better. You can partner up with anyone and you can always be that kid yelling (or whispering) out to other badass athletes like yourself that they’re doing a good job or you like their hustle. A good “fuck yeah” goes a long way on a Monday when everyone’s pushing through the same sweaty, muddy, grassy, gravely, or fountain-y stuff.
They’re fun because you never know exactly what you’re going to get. And we understand that those of you adhering to strict race training plans kinda roll your eyes at Mondays because you have to fit in those specific workouts to be sure you got your miles, or your rest day, or your strength session/track workout/yoga day/spray tan/vest-shopping done. So we’ll never see everyone on a Monday. But what we also know is that too much of life is boring as shit and to have ONE singular part of your week be spontaneous, fun, and light-hearted while also being as fierce as you can throw down–and all you have to do is show up for it, it’s often the best 40 minutes of your whole week. Agree or agree to disagree…but I think Mondays have all the fun.

Today was a perfect example of that. Sling-shotting a partner through the grass, “just the tip-toe” leg raises, partner pushups, lateral lunges, burpees, fountain run-through (or around), sprints, and split-squats with raised back foot. Finished up with a round of “Bring Sally Up” in the fountain. It’s all hard stuff, you get a hell of a good workout, and if you play your cards right while you do it, you have all the fun.

This shit is fun and it’s good and it’s fierce as fuck–as long as you show up and grab all that fun, goodness, and badassery. If you haven’t been to a Monday in a while, here’s your wake up call. #JustShowUp and get your free fitness. It’ll be a good time. Money back guarantee!
#FROGUST #TATTOOVERBAL UPDATE
Despite a temporary glitch in the #Frogust stadium section tracking spreadsheet over the weekend, we’ve logged some serious sections in the last week. This tribe knows how to finish strong!! KEEP GOING!!! We’re collecting sections through midnight on Thursday, August 31. If you see someone doing sections, remind them to track, help them track, even put their sections in on the correct day FOR them, if it helps get them recorded. PUT ALL SECTIONS IN HERE.
It’s the last WEDNESDAY of the month.
It’s officially #GRASSROOTSGEAR tagging, so bring your dry clothes to be tagged.
It’s also the LAST Wed for sections. We usually go for speed PRs on the last Wed, but given the current state of #tattooverbal challenge we’re in, the race is for distance this month. PR chain will be worn if you PR in most sections you’ve completed in one workout! We’ll get back to speed in Sept.
Keep changing the world! See you on Wednesday.
