Sunrise 6ix in the 306

Sunrise 6ix in the 306

On Wednesday, we hit a new PR for our Sunrise 6ix attendance. In case you didn’t know, Sunrise Six is known as our PR day. What is a PR day you ask? Personal Record. A day to look at your past accomplishments, set a new goal, then CRUSH it. Roughly 50 Wednesday warriors showed up to crush their goals! There is so many awesome people and smiling faces that it makes crushing goals that much more fun. Thank you to everyone for pushing each other. Can’t wait to set more PRs.

Also, we should mention that Sunrise 6ix is inclusive to all abilities. Whether you show up and run 6km or show up with your dog or stroller and walk 2km, it’s something to celebrate. Sunrise 6ix is about more than measurement, it is about coming as your are, doing your best and celebrating that.

Fast F*ckers

A couple members of the NPQC tribe crushed goals Wednesday. Quick shout out to @Chad and @Mia for crushing their PRs. I guess that’s what you get when you spend more time working out and boating then you do at your dental office. Good job Mia, you’ve set the barre high. (Get it? Mia teaches barre). BY THE WAY – DID YOU PR? We want to hear about that shit! We are all about celebrating accomplishments together big and small, so let us know by sliding into our DMs, posting it, or tagging us on social media.

Be more like Wayne

Meet Wayne: 70 years old and hasn’t worked out in decades.

Wayne is proof that it is never too late to #justshowup. Wayne heard about us a couple of weeks ago on the CBC radio. 2 weeks ago, Wayne watched our workout from the bushes.

This week Wayne figured instead of watching he would join despite being skeptical whether he could keep up or not. He just did it. And he crushed it!

Be more like Wayne!

Going the Distance

Avery, the long-distance runner, liked to show up when we were doing a lot of running. The girl is fast! We wish Avery well as she is going down under. We hope they don’t have burpees or push ups in Australia because we know how you feel about those…

Breakfast Club

We set another PR this Wednesday at the Breakfast Club. Whoo! A&W is going to need to hire more staff for Wednesday mornings. We’ve been recruiting coffee row to come join us. The regulars have been asking if we are “some sort of team”… damn rights we are!

Man, I don’t know if Ryan Cox actually comes because he enjoys the workouts or if it’s just to join the Breakfast Club after… either way we sure love havin’ ya!

Regina, you guys rock.

Until next time.
