Sharks, bears, tigers, a man riding an elephant, Indiana Jones’s, cave(wo)men, rock n rollers, safari adventurers, apes and monkeys, loin cloths and leopard print, Slash and Axl… just your average morning with November Project San Diego.
The animal kingdom and NP actually have quite a bit in common. In the wild you will find all shapes and sizes, speeds and strengths, perspectives, and motives, from families to friends to strangers. We all come from different places, but gather in one – Balboa Park is our watering hole. Now, where we differ is also important to note. Nature operates in symbiotic relationships. There is balance, but also hierarchy, and most animals are looking out for #1. The jungle can be a harsh environment. This tribe represents the polar opposite. Instead of coexisting, we collaborate. Instead of sticking with our pack, we welcome all comers, and celebrate diversity and new connection. No one here is looking to be king of the jungle – this is a level playing field, and we’re all in it to elevate one another. Everyone has something to offer. We may be wacky, wild, and ever-changing, but our stance on community and accountability will always remain strong. In our kingdom, everyone has a chance, a voice, and the ability to affect positive change, in themselves, in others, and in their community.
We all showed up this morning in true November Project fashion, and lit up Balboa. Now, take that feeling, and bring it to everyone you meet. Everyone. The fun doesn’t end with the workout – the vibe we all create is there for anyone who needs it. Keep up the good work, NPSD!

NP_SUMMIT 5.0 is next weekend! If you have no clue what this is, pay attention to your social media feeds, and you’re bound to get a taste. Much like we come together from all over San Diego, SUMMIT is a gathering of tribe members from around the world. If you’re headed to Boston, amazing – we’ll see you there. If not, have no fear, there is always next year!
