Today we traveled the world! We ran to the far off land in the north known as Turn Around Rock, but first we passed through Parking Lot of Trailhead and Bridge. To the south we conquered Astronomer’s Monument before heading into the dangerous wilds of Burpee Deck. Eventually we journeyed to The Bench which feels like a place that our ancestors told us of. Uphill both ways in the snow with no shoes or socks! I have to admit they were pretty creative in naming the countries. Way better than Madagascar, Zanzibar, or Kuala Lumpur. Anyways…
Today there were no excuses for not showing up. We are a tribe that sweats together. We high five one another, we hug hips in, and we support one another. I loved seeing that support today. Running from country to country and slaying some workout monsters along the way with your travel companions. The competition during rock, paper, scissors was intense. Steve got cocky enough after 3 wins in a row that he fell during his star jumps. Karma.
