Another glorious morning and reminder why we do this damn thing. I’m still not quite sure what led us from planning the workout last night to creating a stand in Hot-Derek scarecrow to lead this mornings bounce, but I gotta say, I haven’t laughed that loud in a long time. You really are getting quite good at Fired Up, D!
This morning saw many tribies return from school travels, including once-core-member-turned-pledging-leader Milana. The hugs were tight and i’ll admit I teared up a little with pride watching Schipper do the pre-amble explanation for the award named after her shenanigans. Good to have ya back!
Speak of the shabooya award, we had a fairly new tribe member take the award home today and I couldn’t be more stoked about it. Tom was introduced to NP last month while visiting his family in Edmonton, and hasn’t missed a workout in Winnipeg since. He has a giant smile on his face all the time and we are so pumped to have you here, Tom! Congrats on the award and holy heck you have one helluva set of pipes on you, that break down at the end was legendary!
See you all on Friday (December 23) at the Ledge for our annual Christmas themed workout; ugly sweaters, hates, and whatever christmas garb you can come up with is highly encouraged. 6:14 am in front of the stairs facing Broadway!
