Wisconsin Notes:
- Positivity Award given out to… The Parking Garage! Congratulations, well deserved!
- Feel the Bern.
- Rain and #weatherproofiness
When I woke up this morning I was pissed. I didn’t get enough sleep and the weather app promised me that it wasn’t going to be raining in the morning. And it was. Harder than when I went to bed. The reason I was pissed is because we had an AWESOME workout planned – we were gonna arrange everyone based on their ________ and make you run around doing _________, __________, and a couple of the classic ____________. I was super pumped for it because it was new and different and was sure to be super hard and fun and basically the best time ever. Unfortunately it required use of other parts of the forks and just wouldn’t be quite as awesome in the rain. So reluctantly, we switched up the plan to go to the parking garage and completely changed the workout plan in about 5 minutes of brooding over morning coffee. The best part about the whole thing is that I get to tease you all with the above blank spaces. Show up next week, it’ll be worth it.

“Fuck. The Parking Garage,” I thought. I was hoping to stay out of there for at least a few more weeks until it got cold and windy. Boy, was I wrong (as usual). I am consistently surprised at how good a workout the parking garage is, and the camaraderie and increased connections that are facilitated by bringing the tribe in to closer quarters and running past each other a hundred times. Match that up with some seriously hard partner running sessions and it’s a mixture for a very successful, very tiring, very satisfying wednesday morning. Several of you commented that you missed the parking garage – which is a statement since we have such beautiful workout locations every week. My big take away is to appreciate that big concrete beast of a castle that is our winter home and start my mornings from here on out with “Fuck Ya, Parking garage!”

The Jays beat the Orioles last night. Sorry, Baltimore. We are probably going to gloat about it for a while longer though – even if its not our side (Canada pride baby). Don’t forget to remind the Baltimore tribe about it a couple times in case they forget (#sistercitylove).

FEEL THE BERN. That is all.
