You didn’t know? Now you know!

Doing a little Sunday Workout with the tribe because we wanted to celebrate a 5 day long weekend.

The recap:

Crate Escape.

Victor is hearing Impaired but still volunteered to share his story. He typed it out so I can read it to the tribe while he signed it. We thank him for being inclusive with us and also because he is a Badass! Recently finished 5 in the Veterans category in 12KM for MerdekaRun 2017

Our latest edition of crate escape was small in numbers but the 20 some that did show up brought their willingness to share and as always, the positive vibes. We didn’t get any volunteers to share their story except the always fast and badass Victor but the rest were opened to stepping up to the crate when their names we drawn. We had 9 tribe members step up to share about changes in their lives since being in the tribe. Most shared about fitness, personality and mentality change; from never running to tackling 10kms/21kms, others talked about being more open and talking to strangers and some shared about how the tribe have inspired them, and made them more comfortable in stepping out of their comfort zone. All in all, as individuals and as a tribe, we have come a long ways but always with the love and support of each other. read more

Embrace the change; it will lead you to beautiful things: From shy tribe to hugging strangers; look at us now.

We have come a long ways, from nodders to shakers to hi5’ers…and now we hug!

Being a first time father about 2 years ago, I really wasn’t sure what the full responsibilities entailed. I had equal parts of excitement as well as fear but the only way I knew how to deal with things was head on (Not like there were any other options here). And in this 24 months, I have seen and experienced change beyond my 40 (fine 41) years of existence.THINGS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME EVER AGAIN!!! read more

PR (Personal Record) Day; Does it get any better than this ??

Every Wednesday before this has been preparation for PR day, now, the true test.

This Wednesday, we will be introducing PR day to the November Project Malaysia tribe.

Many of those already involved with November Project is aware of the mixed feelings that comes with the mention of the word “PR day”. You will either be on the “I love it” side or the “I hate it” side, there is no in between but it is as big a part of NP culture as the bounce, the hugs, the #fuckyeahs (woo yeah respectfully to the Worcester tribe). It has been referred to as a friend, a foe, a necessary evil, the core of my existence, a nemesis, judgment day and the list goes on. The beauty of this for us at November Project Malaysia is that we are all PR day virgins. First timers heading into this with excitement, fear, nervousness, confidence, anxiety or a simple “what the fuck is it?” because many of us don’t know what PR day means and what is in store for us. Let’s focus on all the good this Wednesday will bring; we get to all lose our PR virginity together, we will all PR and the first Wednesday of the month will never be the same again. By 6:00AM on the 5th of July, every November Project Malaysia tribe member will get to have their own nickname for PR day. read more
