Hello out there!
It’s been a while since we last posted a blog here. This summer ended up being a really busy time for me and Rob. Rob has an exciting event coming up this weekend that he’s been working really hard at (more on that in a bit). Speaking for myself, I’ve been busy with a few things, including finishing up my articling term to hopefully become a lawyer very soon. Oh, and the other thing Rob and I have been working on all summer? That’s right, NP SUMMIT 13!!!
By now, I’m sure you’ve heard about Edmonton hosting Summit 13. In case you haven’t heard the details, you can read all about our plans here: npsummit13.com
Our hope is for Summit 13 to be the biggest, best NP Summit ever. Something I know about Edmonton is that people show up for stuff. We may not be the biggest or fanciest city out there, but when something is happening in Edmonton, the community rallies behind it. This is the spirit I can’t wait to show the NP world.
There’s lots planned and tons to come. We can’t wait to share it all with you. Over the coming months, we’ll be releasing the race registration, we’ll be announcing the race route, we’ll be unveiling our tag and so much more. Make sure you sign up for the Summit 13 email list (you can do this at npsummit13.com) and stay tuned to our Instagram page. That’s where we’ll have all the announcements and need-to-know information.
For now, make sure you’re free from June 5-7, 2025. Although there’s a few Summit events happening outside this time frame, the main events will start the evening of June 5 and end the evening of June 7. We promise to make this an event that you won’t want to miss!
As promised, back to Rob. Rob is currently in Sacramento, California where he’ll be doing an Ironman triathlon on Sunday. An Ironman involves a 4000m open-water swim, a 180km bike ride, and then a marathon (42.2km) run. It doesn’t get much harder than that! I’m super excited for Rob to conquer this huge goal on Sunday. If you want, you can follow along his race-day journey with the Ironman Athlete Tracker App (read about that here). Let’s go Rob!!!
Lift each other up,
Eric
