4.5 years and still waiting (YEG)

I have been waiting for 4.5 years for Jen or Andrew to break a verbal, so this morning, when I arrived at the stairs and neither of them were there, I didn’t think much of it. When I checked my watch and it said 6:00am, and there was no sign of Jen OR Andrew, I started the bounce, but all that was going through my head was what I would write about for their We Missed You blogs. 2 in the same day! Jen must have known what as going on in my head because shortly after, I saw her running up the road to meet us for the bounce. Close call. Then I thought I’d catch Andrew, but he sauntered in after everyone took off up the stairs. Foiled. I guess I’ll have to wait a bit longer. Jen claims she was already at the stairs before I got there. However, I clearly saw her show up late. She tried to feed me a bunch of excuses to justify her tardiness, but I could see right through them. “Ask Chris” she said to me. I’m no fool Jen. We know a bunch of people named Chris. That turned to “my alarm didn’t go off” and “my dog ate my homework.” Good try, Jen. We all know you don’t have homework, you’re the Associate Principal! Besides, you don’t even have a dog! “My car got stuck in the snow”… NOPE! One thing I do know, is that Jen was seen running up Walterdale hill this morning. Clearly, Jen thought it was Friday and couldn’t make it to NP on time. That is the only logical explanation. Jen is far too responsible to show up late to NP.

Anyway, you’re running out of time to enter the #NPBuffContest. Make sure you read instructions on how to submit your answers! We were going to give some hints to those who posted answers after the last blog, but apparently no one needed any help. Details on this page:
