They See Me Rollin’ (NPSF)

They See Me Rollin’ Plank Challenge

So over these past few months, we’ve been throwing down with our Indianapolis brothers and sisters in push up and plank challenges. Inspired by Chris Sheesley’s idea, this month we’re going to get our Tribes to keep ourselves accountable for looking after our bodies and helping ensure we’re still doing NPSF and trails and road races in decades time. No teams this time around. Individually, we’re aiming to get 10 minutes of stretching and rolling per day throughout the month of June. Throw in your names and Tribe in the doc.

Skratch the Summit

For this morning’s PR day, our friends at Skratch Labs generously donated gift packs for the three Tribe members who showed the biggest PR time improvement. Make sure to record your times in the tracker, so you remember the time to beat month in, month out. Congrats to Erin, Quan and  “Ahhh shite, who got the third prize? Put your hands up people” for taking home the prizes with the biggest PR. And thanks to Skratch for supplying enough chews and hydration mix for everyone in the audience (See below. It wasn’t just Oprah that pulled that trick). Make sure to give @skratchlabs some Instagram love when you use the goodies.

The North Face Endurance Challenge

The time has come. Let the TNF Endurance Challenge Championship registration floodgates open. We have a new date, November 18th and 19th (hurray for a proper winter break from racing!!!), a new finish location, Crissy Field (hurray for no school bus queues in Rodeo Valley) and absolutely epic views for the race finish (hurrays all round!!). Every year, we have the chance to host the trail running and November Project worlds in our own backyard, the Marin Headlands. How lucky we are for that! Tell your parents. Tell your kids. Tell every person you meet on the street. The trail running world is coming to our city in mid-November, and NPSF will be at the heart of it all!

From the marathon relay to the 50 miler, ECSCA always sells out by mid-summer and entry numbers are pretty tight since it passes through a National Recreation Area & State Park, so get yourself together and register for the biggest trail party west of the Alps (ECSCA Registration). Check out the Perry Wang Google Doc to see who’s looking for new team mates, who’s entered in the longer stuff, and also what traverbalers are looking for accommodation.

Friday Hills are at Mt. Davidson. Meeting up top. Pin to be dropped tomorrow. 6:25AM.
