It’s International Women’s Day. Here is what that means:
Beyonce led our bounce.
The women crushed it.
And so did the guys.
Today may be International Women’s Day, but we all run the world. Each one of us is in charge of our own world. Each one of us – equally – has the power to make our day, our community, our week, and our world, great. It starts the minute your alarm goes off, and as BG explains HERE, that moment after deep and peaceful sleep, when you are jolted awake by an unusual series of foreign noises, is the moment you get to make your first decision of the day. For all of you at the workout today, f*ck YEAH. You took that moment and embraced it full force – you knew that that shitty, shitty moment was happening in bedrooms all around Amsterdam, and just like you, your #weatherproof NP friends would be embracing it too.
Every Wednesday morning we hold adult recess. In that hour we spend battering our bodies and lighting up our souls, we make ourselves, each other, and our world better. At NP, you let down your guard, you embrace strangers, you aren’t afraid to get a little weird – and how does that impact the people around you? From what I see, it makes the people around you let their guard down, it makes strangers smile, and it lets everyone else know that it is okay to get a little weird. But what do you do with the other 23 hours of your Wednesday? Why not do the same next time you are waiting for a traffic light, in an elevator, or in line at AH? Why not let your guard down by taking your headphones out and smiling, why not embrace strangers by facing toward them instead of away and get a little weird by actually speaking to them? Maybe it’s just me, but I think those other 23 hours of the day are pretty important, and the way you feel – and the way you make others around you feel- is up to you.
It’s International Women’s Day. Here is what that means:

The women crushed it.
And so did the guys.
We all got really hyped and a little high on life.
Then we made incredible, special edition Amsterdam tags and got a lot high on paint fumes.
And YOU, yes, all of you, run the world.

just love.
p.s. listen to BG’s podcast. Basically, Brogan has been killing it the past few weeks. I’d say do it on your commute like I did, but I just told you to take out your headphones.
