A huge number of the Tribe experienced a spectacular sunrise in the lovely Beuna Vista Park this morning, many of whom were NP OGs carrying a renewed #freefitness vigour after watching the Dooster masterpiece the night before. If you didn’t make the premiere, fear not! The video will go LIVE on YouTube on December 1st. Thank you to Ryan and to Dylan (@doosterfilm) for creating this masterpiece. Thank you to The North Face for being the power behind this movie (and to TNF_SF for supporting our premiere last night) and to each and everyone of the members profiled in the movie. Chris (NYC), Nick (VB), Ron (DC), Tonieh (MKE), Tatsiana (KC), Richard (YVR), Jesse (BOS) and NPSF’s own Sasha. Thank you all for allowing the boys to tell your personal NP story! And kudos to our three Tribe members, Amy, Pete and Mairin, who stood up and gave us their own personal NP story as a warmup for the movie.

Not to give anything away, but this movie is unbefuckinglievably specfuckingtacular. The Dooster boys show so many different aspects of what makes the November Project community so special, and this is our chance to show the world what NP is all about. So when that movie is released, please share it with your mammy, your favourite cousins, your least favourite cousins, your coach, your postman, the lollipop lady, the barista that keeps giving you steamed milk in your latte even though you asked for frothed, even that cute girl next door that you’ve been wanting to talk to for months but still can’t bring up the courage (Just knock on the door and say you’ve ran out of tea bags and can you borrow some. Classic ‘introduce yourself to the neighbours line back in Ireland). Anyway, share this with all of them. Tell them about the workouts. Tell your friends in other cities. Because maybe, just maybe, they’ll show up. They will be welcomed into this community. And that might well change their life! Or at least they’ll be able to run a few hills and see some spectacular sunrises from it.

As Laura said last night, one consistency across the NP Tribes is the willingness to embrace your fellow Tribe members, to hug and to high five. To look people in the eye and tell them you’re glad they’re here. Take that NP comradery and bring it with you wherever you go. To the workplace. To your neighborhood. Back to your family over Thanksgiving. Live personal interaction is so important in this era of online social media. At NP, we’re not losing touch with that. But let’s make sure we’re spreading this mentality across the world. Fuck Yeah.
Paddy. Out!
