52 Wednesdays have come and gone. Alongside dozens of pop-ups and extra workouts our year was a blast. A group that grew from 30 last March to well over 150 by June. Hundreds who have come once and loved it, spread the word and returned week after week to see what new crazy shit was awaiting them. This group has grown beyond any identifiable barrier. We have children as young as 10 years old and adults well into their 60’s and 70’s. We have men and women from all walks of life, from all fitness levels and all with different goals. The one thing that unifies this group is a shared passion for experiencing community togetherness on a weekly basis. Scoff at the concept if you will, but until you have made yourself come out you cannot truly appreciate the group for what it has become. We never leave disappointed, we never leave without a smile on our faces, and we never leave without a feeling of energy that far exceeds that which you would expect to receive from a workout alone.
November Project is good shit. Very simply put, it may be the workout that helps you get back on track with your fitness lifestyle. It may be the thing that breaks up your solitary commitment to a larger goal such as a marathon or triathlon and reinvigorates your passion through observing the community. Alternatively, if you are looking for a social circle of good people, look no further. This group is tight, but we are extremely welcoming and we would love to see YOU in the New Year. Make a goal of it, make a goddamn resolution.
Wear some layers, it’s really not that bad at all. See you next week, or the one after that. Do yourself a favor and stop saying, “oh that looks fun, but I don’t think it is for me.” This is for you, it is for everyone and you and doing a disservice to yourself to not give it a shot.
Positivity Award – given out weekly to the person who in their own way represents all of the things I discussed above. This week is goes to a dude who is a little quieter than some past winners. Don’t let that fool you, he never misses a single week, he represented proudly at the christmas party, he works his ass off and often either leads or pushes our pack leaders. Carl it has been great having you around. We look forward to the year ahead and I am confident you can beat Graham at the next PR. Good job my friend!Share via socials:
