Wednesday/Friday Early Session Update

Friends! It’s 7:35am and I’ve been at work for 30 minutes. By now, I’m sure you’re settling into a cozy booth in the inner sunset awaiting your Denver omelet (#BREAKFASTCLUB), and I’ve gotta say, I miss you crazy kids. Don’t get me wrong, early sessions are the tits, and maybe I’m actually just a little hungry, but the thought of a Denver omelet (actually, I don’t really care which city the omelet comes from), a hot cup of joe, and all your smiling faces sounds pretty good to me right now.

And yet, there’s a wonderful peacefulness to the city this morning, complimented nicely by the unseasonably warm air. Maybe it’s a calm before the storm thing, or maybe it’s global warming, but my short walk to work as the sun slowly begins to rise, sipping coffee from a noticeably non-travel oriented mug, does not suck. Current view:

You may have noticed that the blog never got posted from last Wednesday. That’s my bad. We leaders tend to take a little too much on at times, and Wednesday was just one of those days. It was almost as tough as a day in the life of SD leader Lauren Padula (!bio/c1xfq), except remove all the brand plugs, work just a little past 2:15pm, and add a pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. (Disclaimer, I am not sponsored by Ben & Jerry’s, but holy shit can you imagine if I was!?!) Sorry, I <3 you Padula. 🙂

Anyways, early gang gets down and gets down hard. If you don’t know, now you know…neighbor. On Wednesday, we rocked a deck of cards style workout that I hoped you enjoyed.

Sunish got the positivity award in the most amazing fashion. I’m not sure why we haven’t crowd surfed at NPSF before now, but we are DEFINITELY going to do more of that.

And this morning we had four, count ’em, FOUR people at the early session!

(Add one for the camera man)

And! I still got a half decent workout in despite forgetting to pack my running shoes for my sleepover at Amber’s house.

Ok, that’s all the time I have for today. I miss you guys, come to the early sessions so I can see your faces.
