Brian Scott is a South African, raised in Mass, who became a man in Madison, WI (undergrad years). His accent makes up for his otherwise pretty weird looks. These days, Brian lives and works on site of one of the biggest, most cutting edge projects in Haiti. In a partnership between Partners In Health and our local friends at Shawmut Construction, Brian was able to take an opportunity to oversee the worksite of the teaching hospital in the rural town of Mirebalais, Haiti.
When we found out yesterday that Brian was in town staying the night in the Back Bay we were pumped. A former D1 rower, “Bscott” used to be able to power through NP type work without too much trouble. The bottom line is this: Brian verbally committed to being at the session this morning more than one time and did not show up. Brian, we were excited to tell all of the November Project tribesmen and women who you are, how great your story is, and maybe even let you work the crowd a little with your South African swagger. Instead we’ll say that We Missed You This Morning, Brian. We hope that you got tons of rest and that your body is feeling not only older but slower & softer as well. Enjoy your unused running shoes.
