It may have been a little far out for some, but this morning’s location was awesome. But an awesome location doesn’t always an awesome workout make, necessarily, per say… but, when you combine Megan Dickie, advocate of the law and the trees, with said awesome location, you now have an awesome, kickass, weekend earning workout. The tribe ran a giant circuit bounding from one side of the river to the other, dodging horse turd in some areas and holding their breath to avoid deep inhalation of pee smells in others. There were pushups, dips, wall jumps and crunches thrown in somewhere along the way too. When all was said and done, I think we can all agree on one thing: we will definitely be back. The Platte River was tempting for a post circuit cool-down, but call us cowards for taking to heart the signs that said, “Swim at your own risk of acquiring Staff and probably Ebola”. It actually only warned against one of those infections but forgive me for trying to justify our decision to stay dry.
Closing statements: Weekend. Earned. Have a good one!
WED: PR clovers at the Civic Center Amphitheater. 5:30am, 6:15am or both.
