Unbelievable crowd out there this morning for the third #Sunrise6K. If I’m not mistaken, we had 60, 70, 80+ racers out there. Fuck yeah, way to represent! Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped with directing, taking photos, recording time, heckling, cheering. Get those injuries in check, and we can’t wait to see you guys racing in the next edition.
And don’t forget to put your time on the NP Tracker (link). This #Sunrise6K race isn’t about the individual. It’s about the team and our community. It’s about our whole Tribe getting out there, participating and having a blast. Whether you ran a sub-20 or a plus-40 minute 6000m, you’re part of our Tribe and we’re damn proud you crushed it this morning! As it stands, we’re at 49 racers which puts us in 3rd place for the most attendees. Boston stand strong at 88. Can we get there? We’ll post on Monday how the overall times and attendances went across the 26+ Tribes.

In other news this morning:
- Our sunrise actually did show up once everyone left. No ‘We missed you’ post for the sun required just yet.
- The cops were pretty damn cool this morning. They threw their lights on and gave us a roll-by sending the leaders into “Shit, get ready to scatter” mode. Before easing our fears, as they sped off to clean up our city.
- One of the most deserved tribe members received the Positivity Award this morning. From your unwavering attendance at workouts throughout a tough year of injury, to your ridiculous white morph suit bridge-crotch support at races over the past two years. Thank you Braden. So well deserved. And a great morning for you to receive the award as you race your first #Sunrise6K.
Now to teach Iain that you can’t strike a batter out before the pitch (did I get all those terms, right?).
Have a great weekend! Peace out, fuckers!Share via socials:
