So… the book launches this week on Tuesday, April 12th, a date we’ve been looking at for months now. The project, lead by Caleb, built by many, and hopefully shared with the world, is on the launch pad. So why not launch this book in Boston? Why not make the launch large, hyped, active, fun, and share it with our friends. We’re happy to say that all of our friends here in Boston, those who are visiting for the race, as well as the kind souls at Runner’s World and The North Face, are all going to make this first book event one that will never be forgotten. Sound epic? It will be. Below are the basics, but please understand, an RSVP is vital to hold a place at this FREE event. Click here to go directly to the RSVP and/or read below for the details. Can’t wait to see you there.
WHEN: Saturday, April 16th 2016 (6:00PM)
WHAT: November Project The Book launch event. Combining forces with The North Face “Speaker Series,” and the 50TH Anniversary of Runner’s World Magazine (NBD), we look to blow this thing out in all directions. A run, to social, to snacks, to film viewing (NP story by The North Face), and the BG & Bojan presentation to close it out.
WHERE: (start) Boston Marathon Finish line. 2.7 mile chill run that brings us all to The Cyclorama in Boston’s South End. Don’t want to run? Great, just come right to The Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts – 539 Tremont St, Boston and we’ll bring our sweaty hugs to you.
WHO: November Project, tribes, Co-Leaders, Co-Founders, friends & family. The North Face, our largest partner & the reason the movement has jet fuel, the pro athletes, Mountain Athletics trainers & athletes, & more. Runner’s World, staff, fans, friends, & all the big wigs. Health Warrior for snacks, NUUN Hydration for drank.
ORDER: Run. Social. Runner’s World tributes to 50 yrs. November Project Film by The North Face/Dooster. Speaker Series Presentations. Book signing.
NAME DROPPING: Sounds like some heavy hittin’ pro runners will be there, not that they’re more important than you, but thought you may care. Dean Karnazes, Rory Bosio, and Rob Krar. Equally or more impressive on hand will be Boston Co-Leaders Emily Saul, Chris Payne, & Chris Capozzi, not forgetting about West Coast NP Pioneers Laura McCloskey (NPSF), Lauren Padula (NPSD), Jackie Knolls (NP Phoenix) and lost puppy Peter Nazacoffeegrinder (Co-Leader of November Project Calgary). In reality, NP Co-Leaders & members will be far more than those listed, but we’re just aiming to tease it out right now. At the event, we hope that you find these athletes, these leaders. Meet them. Take selfies with them. They matter the same as you, but they’re pretty amazing (just like you).
COST: $0. Leave your Louis Batton wallet in the car, in plain site, where robbers can see it. They won’t take it though, they’re coming to the event. That’s right, robbers are welcome.
SWAG: Each person who runs, gets a swag’ed out swaggy T-shirt. It smells, looks, and even feels like swag. It is. It is swag. FREE swag.
HYPE: Spread the word. This is a perfect point of entry (and a crazy one) for anyone new to what we do. As runners, as nice people, as drivers of community, bring a friend.
