Sutro Bath Stairs (SF)

Excuse me while I clear my throat and drop some knowledge on you uneducated peasants.

(Directly copy and pasted from Wikipedia; World’s most inaccurate yet highly used source of information)

“On March 14, 1896, the Sutro Baths were opened to the public as the world’s largest indoor swimming pool establishment. The baths were built on the western side of San Francisco by wealthy entrepreneur and former mayor of San Francisco, Adolf Sutro.”

That’s all I am giving you. The rest you have to look up at work while you are pretending to run the internet.

This morning we ran up hills, stairs, and paid tolls in burpees. Contrary to popular belief, the sun does not rise in the west, so we did not get to see the glorious scene Laura posted on IG yesterday.  But we did get to smell the stagnant water of the moldy baths and watch the boys almost get swept up in a rip tide, hot pink speedos and all. It was a perfect, fall morning and I had a fucking ball. And all that matters is that Laura has a good time.
