See You On The Other Side (LAX)

It is you in the final analysis – always you, the decisive factor – who decides what happens to you. Remember it. This is the very key. If you are unhappy, it is you. If you are not living rightly, it is you. If you are missing, it is you. The responsibility is totally yours. Don’t be afraid of this responsibility. -Osho

Dear November Project Los Angeles,

I love you.

I love you so much that I’m stepping down as your co-leader. I know this sounds weird, but if you hear me out, it may make a little sense. Over the past few months, my life has gone through some changes. These changes have been both good and bad, problematic and positive, and in the end made me realize something that is so important. Happiness.

From the moment I showed up to my first November Project workout here in Los Angeles, I’ve never felt happier. Running around with all you like minded people and feeling like each workout I’m winning a race with all my friends cheering for me along the way has made such a positive impact on my life. I showed up because I needed a community in this ginormous city we live in. I think it’s safe to say I found more than just a community.

There’s something really special about being apart of this tribe. There’s a magic we have within ourselves that explodes at each and every workout, each and every gathering outside our workouts, and each and everyday because of the people we’ve chosen to be, and chosen to surround ourselves with. That is all of you guys. I can’t emphasize enough how excited I am to rejoin this tribe as a member and show up in full force.

I will forever be grateful of this opportunity that Orrin and Steve gave me, and forever be proud of how strong I became from it. That is from all of you. You gave me the confidence to bounce my screechy little voice off, speak in front of a crowd bigger than my eyes can see, and perform pushups on the news. I can’t thank this tribe enough for all the love and support during my time as a co-leader.

Ben and Steve, you two rock larger than life and I’m so grateful I got to be apart of this amazing trio. Tribe, help me take care of these two yahoos cause we all know, Ben is horrible at Technology and Steve thinks cucumbers are for cooking. For real though, you guys got this and I’m behind you every step of the way. I have so much faith in you both to continue carrying this tribe strong.

Please know this: I am NOT going anywhere. In fact, I am looking forward to helping our tribe continue growing and to strengthen this movement in any way I can. I love each and everyone of you so much and am excited to see where the wind will take us next.

Peace and so much love ya’ll.
