Race, Recover, Race Again (DCA)

Mad props to all the racers out there that conquered one milestone (see what I did there?) or another this past weekend. The November Project family had racers from Chicago to DC to Boston to the left coast showing off speed, positivity, and pure energy.

Even more props to those racers that showed up for the Monday workout and threw down some hills in the District. This is what it’s all about. Let me explain:

Whether it’s work, play, practice, etc., life is an opportunity to improve your skills.

Those skills may be running, lifting, eating, scrubbing, or raccoon wrangling. No matter what, we always have the chance to get better. If you think otherwise, you’re looking at it wrong. I get it…pushing ourselves is hard sometimes. That, my good friend, is why we have each other. In the NP family, we will always be here to motivate, stimulate, and positivicate (yes it’s a word. I just made it up) each other. Those racers that show up the next day following a competition, race, etc. know that this life is what we’ve got right now and they’re going to make the most of it. How? By helping themselves and helping others to stay positive, wake up with smiles, and put those hips in for a hug. If we happen to get fit while making our city a better place, I hope you won’t complain. Instead, you’ll #JustShowUp for more of that positive energy floating around on MWF at 6:30AM.

Not sure if that made sense but I know you get the picture. If you don’t, either get a new lens, some glasses, or join us this Wednesday, this Friday, next Monday and see what I mean.

WEDNESDAY OCT. 22nd: 1 YEAR anniversary of November Project DC. We’re celebrating in the evening. Location announcement coming soon!
