Sometimes, it’s easy to forget that we are an extremely fortunate group at November Project. In a way, it has almost become normalized that we have photographers around to capture all of these amazing moments we share in the early hours of the day. There are some days when I’m doing something really cool in the afternoon or evening and am hoping there is an image capturing the moment. And I have to remind myself that having a photographer nearby is not a normal thing. It’s really not normal to get such amazing photos of you in action.
These photographers not only capture our moments, they also enable you to focus on your workout. Instead of worrying about doing it for the ‘gram, you can just go out and work your ass off.
And in way, the whole magic of November Project can be seen through this. The photographers are there to take photos for everyone else. It’s a way of supporting and enabling others to do better. Yes, November Project is about working hard and crushing goals. But the true magic of November Project lies in the people. The magic lies in how we lift each other up to crush those goals. The magic lies in how we push each to be better every time. The magic lies is in how the people are there for you and how you are there for them. The magic lies is in how we become better people when we surround ourselves with good people. It helps us become better versions of ourselves. The icing on the cake is that we’re becoming healthier at the same time.
I often look back on the journey of NP over the last 6 years and look over the photos that have captured all of our moments. All of my favourites are from when I’m reminded that there is some good in the world. So while the word paparazzi might be negative to most of the world. To me, I’m extremely grateful for them. I’m able to look back on all of these amazing moments, and know that we’re all leaving this world in a better place.
So, to all of our paparazzi, past and present, thank you for all that you do for us.
