NPSF… We Shake it Off

The last few days, the SF tribe took a lot of inspiration from our girl, T-Swift. It started with our epic cheer station (video below) at the Mile 10 November Project Hill in yesterday’s Nike Women’s Half Marathon, through to this morning’s Power Half Hour.

For 30 minutes, we rotated through 24 different minute long exercises with 6 rest sprints. The co-leaders had to set example and actually do the workout this morning. And did you see Dan Clayton’s form on the speedskater? America, send him to the Olympics! Big kudos to our racers from the SF and DC tribes who flew through their race yesterday, hugged and high fived their way up Mile 10 and then #JustShowedUp to Shake It Off this morning! And what better way to recover from the race other than getting out with your tribe, crushing out every exercise under the sun from burpees and bear crawls, all whilst shaking it out to our girl, Taylor.

Has Paddy spent the last half hour eating his bowl of Cheerios, drinking a cup of tea with this song on repeat? Of course! Is he going to spend the rest of the day pipetting around the lab with it blasting into his earphones? Mos’ def!

‘Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play
And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate
Baby, I’m just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off
Heart-breakers gonna break, break, break, break, break
And the fakers gonna fake, fake, fake, fake, fake
Baby, I’m just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off
