MONDAYS. They may potentially be the new best day of the November Project week. We converge onto Fort Mason and we run to a new unique location in the park each week. Mondays are for…. loud bounces. Ridiculous views. High fives. Sweaty hugs. 25 minutes of core, box jumps, bear crawls, stair sprints and push-up nose dips into oncoming waves. Followed by 5 minutes of balls-to-the-wall burnout racing to finish with our heart-rate through the roof. Mondays are for dropping those Spice Girls beats with the boombox. Mondays are for making awkward faces at the Fisherman’s Wharf tourists as they’re taking photos of us. Mondays for the long weekend traverbals from New Orleans, South Korea, Madison and beyond. Mondays are the shit. Mondays are for you!
If you’re a Wednesday/Friday regular but haven’t tried a Monday yet, get your act together. Get onboard Mark’s #rungang train. Get on your bike and join us. We’ll convert you yet.
Speaking of shit you ABSOLUTELY HAAAAAVE to do. There’s a little event going down on December 5th and 6th, known as the North Face Endurance Challenge Series CHAMPIONSHIPS! And best part is… this race is going down only a stone’s throw away over in the Marin Headlands. The 50 miler and 50K are sold out, but there’s still spots in the marathon team relay and marathon. There looks to be 30 teams from across the November Project already signed up, but this race will be capped at 100 teams (STRICTLY 100 TEAMS). So if you haven’t found a team yet, make your way over to our Perry Wang Google Doc and to the registration website and sign yourself up (use the NP discount, NP15CA). If last year was anything to go by, we should be in for a treat of a Saturday.
See you Wednesday. Alta Plaza. 5:30 and 6:27AM.Share via socials:
