Life’s a Beach (SD)

#MayhemMondays – Beach Edition kicked off in La Jolla Cove this morning.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Especially since my morning started by me almost getting eaten by a sea lion. All for you guys. It’s a long story, but a true one, and we should all thank Dennis for showing us the secret ninja stairs which got you guys out of the danger of running amongst the sea lions.

La Jolla Cove is known to be a beautiful, scenic, touristy spot that attracts the hoity-ist of the toity-ist in San Diego. Today, today we brought those noses down (and even plugged them, man those sea lions stink) and shit got real in La Jolla.

You ran crazy hills, dashed up hidden ninja stairs, flipped cards and did pushups, sit ups, and squats, all while the lovely community of La Jolla snoozed in their king sized beds.

The morning was topped off with one of the most beautiful trail runs we’ve done in our November Project lives.

All in all, I’d say today was a win. Sweat, hugs, love, and nobody got eaten by a sea lion.

Be happy, be strong, be bright, make sure you shower today San Diego!

Note to Selves:

– #SoCalRollCall: Continue to recruit those CO-WORKERS this week! Drag them out from behind their desk and bring them to Wednesday morning. Then they won’t have to feel bad about eating those break room donuts.

– #MayhemMonday: week 2 of the Beach life will take place at Tourmaline Beach. Remember, surfers are territorial. Use street parking.

– Bonus Homework from Angelo: Hug a stranger. Don’t get arrested.
