This blog is going to be short, like me. And because I’m hours away from the long weekend, productivity is at an all-time low. Was anyone else annoyed by how beautiful the sun was this morning? Who does she think she is, being all golden? Does she think it’s okay to slowly rise up above the horizon while we are working our asses off on that hill? The nerve! Who gives her the right to distract us with her beauty! The sun really should be more considerate to us. What did we ever do to her? Did anyone else notice the 3 oversized loads that were coming down the hill at the end? They stopped traffic and made everyone in their cars jealous that they were not running through the finisher tunnel. Final random thought, I donated blood today to a bunch of mosquitos, but didn’t get a cookie… WTF!
I don’t have much else to say this morning, but next time you’re trying to think of an excuse to not come to November Project, think about this awesome story from the New York Times.
Monday’s location is at the north end of the Alberta Legislature (98ave and 108st).
Next Friday – Bring an old shirt and leave with grassroots gear. We’ll be tagging shirts with black paint to make them looking fresh!
Sunday August 21 – We have an official cheer station for the Edmonton Marathon. It will be at Stutchburry Park. We’ll need to be there by 6:45am and we should see the last of the runners around 10:30am. We’ll make a ton of signs and give those runners a ton of energy and positive vibes that morning!
