The rain smothered us in its frozen pellets of hell, to the point of dripping, soaking calamity. But Jason just wore a cotton shirt and shorts, Steve zoomed past and took the rain for all of us, and Megan started a dance party; that’s how badass #NP_BAL tribemembers were this morning.
We PR’ed (log it), ran stairs, and brought Sally back out to play. She tries to woo us with her flirty ways and by the end we hate her with a fiery passion like our crazy-ex we always want to forget.
But regardless of your time or distance, you should be proud because YOU showed up this morning. You said “screw you” to the rain, to the weather, to that awful meteorologist, to your sleeping roommate. You defined #weatherproof this morning — welcome to the real NP. As the temperature drops, it gets harder to get out of bed. But we are here, waiting for you – always and forever.
Also, the 5:30 crew has a message for all of you:
– Have a kickass Thanksgiving. Eat what you want but we will see you for #hillsforbreakfast on FRIDAY, Patterson Park
– CITY GLOW: DECEMBER 6TH — a glow run followed by the most epic party with a DJ, free-ness, and some awesome surprises. You do NOT want to miss it. #verbal on the page.
Hugs & love always,
