Century – (PHL)

We sacrificed running for a bit of strength training with our age old Century workout. 100 of each; sit-ups, push-ups, burpees, jumping jacks & squats. Break em down any way you see fit, but everyone does 100 of each. Four teams competed for bragging rights – and team 4 was victorious! Winners split into three and finished with the remaining teams (post winning hugs of course).

The tribe grows as the sun warms our faces and it’s a beautiful sight to see!

Wes passed the hard hat to Rebecca – Abrams was crowd surfed for her birthday – and y’all leapt off your feet for the group shot!


May 9th – Kick off LOVE your park week with community clean up at Lemon Hill Park 10:00 a.m. – Beer Picnic to follow at 2:00 p.m.

May 16th – Join us for Play Manaunk – wear your Grassroots gear & at 1:00 p.m., we’ll join Never Give Up Training to break a Guinness World Record for the most people doing sit-ups simultaneously! Registration required.

May 17th – Join team November Project Philadelphia for the West Philly Runners 26×1 marathon relay, (password: np_phl). <<— That’s an update right there!
