Greetings Tribesmen and Tribeswomen,

Your respectfully disruptive friends at November Project DC, the boys that brought you #ArcadeMotorcade, are back at it with #CapturetheFlag race on Flag Day, June 14th at 7 pm. As the District of Columbia November Project, we feel it is our duty to celebrate Flag Day by racing the streets of DC in red, white, and blue all over.

WHAT: It wouldn’t be capture the flag if there was a flag that is to be captured.  Leading up to race day we will be using the hashtag #WherestheFlag to drop hints about WHERE THE FLAG is. Along the race course you will be trying to search, find, capture the flag for a prize. Catch it if you can.

WHERE: Start: DuPont Circle, 7 PM. Finish: Logan Circle: 8-8:30 PM.

WEAR: Appropriate costumes would include: Using the flag as a dress + running shoes, painting your arms/legs/stomach red, white, and blue + running shoes, any combination of jean shorts + red, white, and blue + running shoes, the list goes on. Red, white, and blue spray paint will be available for outfits as well. Always in #GrassrootsGear.

Will Ferrell demonstrates attire for the 2014 #CapturetheFlag race. Notice how he combines both the flag, USA shirt, with a DC summer friendly running outfit.

COST: $0.00 for life. Have more fun, spend zero dollars, #FreeFitness World Take Over is real and you all are spreading it. As always, #JustShowUp

CHEERS: Beers will be consumed at Stoney’s after the race for those who are 21 and over.

HYPE LEVEL: Like all races we take our hype level up a notch. Share this with the world of DC as it will be an event for the ages.

Hips in hugs, love, and nama-fucking-stay.
